May Moon

Carol A. Hand

Sometimes, on the darkest night

the moon appears, a guiding light

shining on the world below

a reminder of our inner glow

urging us to do the same for others

About Carol A. Hand

What matters are not the titles I’ve held or university degrees I earned or the size of a house or bank account. It’s really what I’ve learned from ordinary people like me whom I’ve met along the way. They taught me to live with gratitude and give thanks for each new day.

    • Thank you for sharing your always kind, poetic words, David. I, too, am grateful for the light of grandmother moon, a reminder to care about the earth and others in the darkness of these times. 🙂

  12. Ah the moon, my source of containment and birth of cosmic wonder. Thanks for making me smile.:) Other than Harvest Moon by Neil Young, my favorite moon song. Hoping it will put a smile on your face –
